Surface and Cuttings
 
Cheymac Group has machinery of last generation to execute all kind of surface finish, we can do different cuts and additional mechanizations. Consult this section to find information about stone polished and finish which adapt to your project.
 
 
Stone Finished
Pulido:
Es el más frecuente. Se aplican movimientos de traslación y rotación sobre la superficie de la plancha con materiales abrasivos: discos de grano muy fino.
Aspecto: brillante y liso. Resalta el color y la textura, ofrece gran resistecia.
Apomazado:
También se conoce como amolado. Es muy similar al pulido, pero sin brillo. Apropiado para rocas que no admiten el pulido por su compacidad.
Aspecto: liso, sin marcas y mate. Antideslizante.
Abujardado:
Se consigue por la sucesión de golpes repetido con martillo (bujarda) que presenta pequeños dientes piramidales.
Aspecto: según el tipo de bujarda. Presentará cráteres de entre 1 y 3 mm de profundidad y anchura.
Arenado:
Se proyecta abrasivo a presión creando una erosión artificial. También se utiliza para una limpieza posterior de l apiedra. Puede conseguir grabados para realizar cenefas, letras...
Envejecido:
Combina varios anteriores. Algunos se hacen mediante ácidos o productos químicos, posteriormente se aplican pátinas que dan ese aspecto desgastado.
Flameado:
Se hace en algunos granitos. Se aplica una llama inclinada a gran temperatura. Seguidamente se enfría con agua saltando algunos componentes y resaltando su estructura cristalina.
Aspecto: rugoso, con relieves de entre 2 y 3 mm de profundidad. Muy estable ante agentes atmosféricos
 
 
Stone Cuttings
Al Hilo:
Sigue el plano de la estratificación, dando lugar a caras limpias y homogéneas, sin vetas.
Caracanto:
Va en contra de la estratificación, por lo que en una misma superficie se ven todos los planos. Veteado.
Diagonal:
Sigue la diagonal del rectángulo, por lo que se obtienen vetas inclinadas respecto a la dirección del canto (lateral del bloque).
